PROCESS PERFORMANCE
Getting more from the existing situation
Once clear processes are defined and implemented, the next logical step is process performance improvement. This has two outcomes:
- Improved Process Efficiency; and
- Improved Resource Utilisation
Identifying the efficiency gaps
Our work on process purpose defines how the organisation 'should' work - i.e. the reasons why each process occurs, the way processes should be carried out, and the identification of 'standard times' for those processes.
By comparing your actual process times to these 'standard times' we provide an objective basis for the organisation to determine how efficient a process is and the amount of unrealised potential. You are also able to identify gaps, determine their causes and know how to close those gaps.
Identifying the resource gaps
We measure the resources you are currently using to execute particular processes, and compare this with the resources required to do the work. The resultant 'gap' is then fully explored, so that causes are identified and addressed before lasting solutions are developed and implemented.
