The organisation’s previous strategic plan (2011-2014) was due for renewal, and there was also a need for an annual operational plan to start the implementation of the strategic plan. The plans needed buy-in from all levels of the organisation.
WDScott provided facilitation services and strategic direction to the Board and the management team, in addition to stakeholder liaison and engagement with the organisation’s staff.
The organisation’s strategic plan for 2014-2017 was developed in consultation with the Board, management, and staff. Over 30 interviews were conducted, and the plan was endorsed by the Board. An operational plan was also developed.
