PRINCIPLES
Steps
There are seven steps which work, but only if they are executed rigorously and in sequence.
- Determine direction including the total system in which the enterprise participates.
- Understand the segments taking a ‘customer back’ view and their tangible and intangible decision criteria of the various customers.
- Model the various entities involved in the total system using a standardised process structure and undertake dependency analysis
- Define ‘As Is’ processes
- Undertake analysis and design is conducted at 3 levels (strategic, internal architecture and operational) using standard logical templates. An ‘As Is’ physical and logical analysis is completed. Design the implementation approach in series of value creating waves.
- Implement in an holistic manner
- Once the new processes have been introduced and stabilized attention is directed toward their continuous improvement.
