OUR HISTORY
WDScott was established in Australia by Sir Walter Scott in 1938, with an initial focus on standard costing and budgetary control systems. In the 40s and 50s the firm diversified into manufacturing and service industry productivity programs, beginning a 60 year unbroken association with business performance improvement. By the early 80s WDScott had become the largest and most prestigious management consultancy in Australia with offices in the UK, the USA, New Zealand and in South-East Asia. WDScott operated in Asia, Europe, Africa and the United States until 1985 when it was merged with Coopers and Lybrand’s (PWC) consulting business to further develop their offerings and market presence.
The WDScott brand was relaunched in Australia in 2004 and in 2007 was incorporated as WDScott Ltd. WDScott Ltd is now an unlisted public Australian company operating through three subsidiary companies: WDScott Asia Pty Ltd, WDScott (Europe) Ltd and WDScott US Limited.
